Robert has burst upon the long distance swimming scene in a most impressive way. During June he successfully completed the Ullswater course in very cold conditiond, in a time of 4 hours 49 secs. In early August Robert competed in the Two Way Windermere championship taking 2nd place in a time of 14hrs 59.39 secs. Not comntent with this achievement he entered the Windermere Championship completing the course in the very res[ectable time of 6hrs, 9 mins, 51 secs.
Robert has had an excellent season, p[articularly as he is relatively new to long distance swimming.
