Awarded to Mr Andy Wright

(FOR THE 2007 SEASON)

During the Association's Golden Jubilee Year Andy has, in addition to his presidential duties, been the swim secretary of the Lake Bala championships and ahs also been principlal organiser of the Golden Jubilee Two Way Lake Windermere Relay. This is the first time that an event of this magnitude has been held by the BLDSA and complicated logistics support was essential to the success of the swim. Swimmers had to be transported by roafd and boat and timing and coordination were essential throughout the event.

Andy has carried out his presidential duties in an outstanding manner while at the same time organising these major competitions. Andy aldo found the time and energy to compete in a number of the BLDSA championships.

Andy's long suffering wife Sandra may be looking forward to a restful period in the near future, but I doubt if this will be the case as Andy will be carrying out the duties of Cheshire County ASA President during 2008.
