Joe has assisted at more events than any other qualified pilot - lifesaver or escourt canoeist during the season.
To quote the Safety Officer's annual report, Joe has made a superb effort by crewing at events accross the country, in both BLDSA and other swimming competitions.
Ny providing this outstanding service to Long Distance swimming at such a young age Joe has set an example to both his own generation and to his seniors.
