Many of the more senior members will remember her father Ian being an outstanding swimmer in both junior and senior competitions.

Cara has followed her father giving a steadfast performance over the years.

During the Golden Jubilee season Cara came 1st in the Derwent reservoir 5 mile , 2nd in the Junior Coniston 5.25 mile, 1st in the Junior Bala

3 mile, 2nd at Wykeham 2 mile, 4th in the Rivington 2 mile and 2nd at Lynn Regis.

Cara has had an outstanding season and only missed being awarded the Junior Grand prix trophy by 0.75 points.

This is a well deserved award.
