New for the 2009 season all breaststroke swimmers must wear pink hats. These are available from the shop. Plus Novice events are now open to swimmers from 10 years of age.

The Rivington Reservoir swim has been postponed for 2009 as United Utilities has stopped all swimming on its reservoirs. possible new venues are being looked into for 2010

Pilot Lifesaver Scheme.

All applicants will be required to demonstrate competency in the handling of their craft and in accompanying a swimmer. A short land test including CPR will also form part of the assessment.

Applicants should be able to provide evidence of accompanying a swimmer as an individual escort in at least 2 championship events.

200 CLUB

Canoeists

We require canoeists at many of our swims to escort swimmers both on a one to one basis and on some swims to escort groups of swimmers on circuit courses. If you can help with this please contact the webmaster.
