We feel that this event needs to be altered in some way. Would people like a dinner, awards and disco, just a dinner or some other type of event. As we have to book this in advance we need to know ideas over the next few months. See Calandar and entry form for more details. ------------------------------------------------- WINDERMERE 2008 The Windermere Secretary would like to know your views. How willing would you be to attend the briefing meeting at 7.30 am at the start point of Fell Foot on the day of the swim rather than a 7.30pm meeting the night before at ambleside. Please e.mail your views and any enquiries to the Swim Secretary gillstables@nascr.net ------------------------------------------------- Pilot Lifesaver Scheme. All applicants will be required to demonstrate competency in the handling of their craft and in accompanying a swimmer. A short land test including CPR will also form part of the assessment. Applicants should be able to provide evidence of accompanying a swimmer as an individual escort in at least 2 championship events. Potential applicants must register with our Safety Officer: Chris Hickling. e.mail chris.hickling@btinternet.com ------------------------------------------------- 200 CLUB Join our 200 Club and have a chance of winning a prize. 2 x £10 and 1 x £5 every month. It is only £6 per year to join please contact Pam Morgan, 38 Meadow Drive, East Ayton, Scarborough, YO13 9EZ. ------------------------------------------------- Canoeists We require canoeists at many of our swims to escort swimmers both on a one to one basis and on some swims to escort groups of swimmers on circuit courses.
